Question 1: How Does Brick Catch Vito Red-Handed?
Brick has suspected for some time that Vito is hiding a dangerous secret. Instead of confronting him directly, Brick secretly follows Vito and discovers that he is preparing to meet a mysterious person.
Before the meeting begins, Brick hides a recording device inside the room. Unaware that someone is listening, Vito begins discussing his entire plan.
During the private conversation, Vito admits that he manipulated several recent events and deliberately placed an innocent person in danger. He also reveals the identity of the person behind the scheme—someone nobody expected to be involved.
Brick realizes that he finally has the evidence needed to destroy the entire operation.
