Question 1: Why Does Steffy Confess Everything Over the Phone?
Steffy may finally decide that she can no longer hide the truth from Finn.
After Sheila discovers her medical records and threatens to expose the pregnancy, Steffy realizes that her secret is no longer safe. Carter begs her to remain silent while he searches for a solution, but Steffy refuses to let Sheila control her family.
Unable to find Finn in person, Steffy calls him and asks him to listen without interrupting. Her voice shakes as she reveals that she is pregnant and that she hid the news from him.
Then comes the most painful confession: Carter may be the baby’s father.
Finn is completely silent. Steffy continues, admitting that she and Carter planned to make Daphne believe the pregnancy was part of a secret surrogacy arrangement.
Question 2: Will Finn Stay on the Phone Long Enough to Hear Everything?
Finn struggles to understand how his wife could build such a cruel lie while pretending that their marriage was secure. He asks whether Steffy ever intended to tell him the truth.
Before she can fully explain, the call suddenly ends.
Steffy fears that Finn deliberately hung up, but something more dangerous may have happened. Sheila could be nearby, determined to stop Steffy from destroying the leverage she just gained.
Steffy repeatedly calls Finn, but he does not answer. She leaves an emotional message begging him to come home so they can speak face-to-face.
Meanwhile, Carter learns about the confession and panics. If Finn tells Daphne, their entire plan will collapse.
Steffy has finally chosen honesty, but it may have come too late to save her marriage.
Did Finn end the call because he could no longer listen, or did someone prevent him from hearing Steffy’s complete confession?
