This week on The Young and the Restless promises anything but a mundane middle.

Chelsea returns to Genoa City after settling her son Connor in his new school, leaving us wondering if she and Billy will pick up right where they left off.

Could a New Year’s Eve wedding be on the horizon? Meanwhile, Victor remains resistant to suggestions of picking up a hobby that doesn’t involve alienating his family.

This continues to strain his relationships with Nick and Victoria. The tension between the siblings might just push them to form Nector Enterprises themselves.

Adam, on the other hand, is in for a rude awakening, a common occurrence in Genoa City. It seems he’ll be one of the last to know that Victor has been testing his loyalty.

Given Adam’s own history of treachery, he might realize his father is only doing what he himself would in that position.

As the saying goes, keep your friends close and your relatives closer.

Interestingly, one misstep from Adam could suddenly make Nate seem more trustworthy in comparison. If there’s an opportunity, you can bet Adam will seize it, perhaps faster than he and Victoria can stir up trouble.
