The speculation is rampant, as viewers try to unravel the mystery behind her arrival. Given the town’s history, it’s likely that Claire has a connection to someone in the community.
Many are speculating that her presence might be tied to the influential Newman family, especially since she was spotted fixating on clippings and photos of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a rather eerie manner.
Of particular interest was Claire’s recent and intriguing encounter with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who happens to be dating Victoria. When Claire honed in on a picture of this mother-daughter duo, it’s hard not to draw connections.
Considering Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) intricate history with the Newmans, particularly Victoria, and the family’s efforts to expose his deception and hidden agenda, it’s likely that his onscreen storyline only scratched the surface of his past. Although he arrived in town with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and “son” Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), there’s no guarantee that Tara was his only wife.
Given Claire’s youth, she could potentially be an illegitimate child of Locke’s seeking retribution against the Newmans for their actions against her father. It’s worth noting that Tara was quite young when she became Locke’s wife, leaving room for the possibility that Claire may have had a romantic involvement with Ashland at some point.
