Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is feeling uneasy as Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) returns solo from the trip he took with her mother, leaving Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) behind.
Tucker insists Ashley stayed back for business matters, but this explanation doesn’t sit well with Abby. She believes her mother would have informed her, and her attempts to reach Ashley have been met with voicemail and no returned calls.
Abby persists in questioning Tucker, unwilling to let the matter rest. She’s determined to uncover the truth but also knows she must proceed with caution. Her mother’s safety is paramount, but she’s mindful of not causing unnecessary distress to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), who is Tucker’s son.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been basking in her role as CEO of Newman Enterprises, buoyed by the support of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). However, her reign is about to face a challenge.
The formidable Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is weary of his wayward adult children and has decided to reclaim control of his company. He informs Victoria that she will now share the CEO position with him, no longer holding full authority.
While it’s still a significant role, Victoria feels a shift in power dynamics. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has already declined the co-CEO position to work alongside Sharon Collins (Sharon Case). This leaves Victoria wondering if she is the second choice. With Victoria’s influence diminished Nate’s allegiances may also shift elsewhere.
