Even until the last moments, Young and the Restless (Y&R) is full of surprises and new arrivals. Just when viewers thought they were done with new characters, Y&R announced that Brad Sanders would be joining the show. To know more about it, make sure to watch the video till the end.
Hey everyone, welcome to Tren Street! As mentioned, this year has been all about blasts from the past, and adding to that list is Brad Sanders. Making it even better, he is joining right around Christmas time.
For those unfamiliar, Brad Sanders is an actor with a successful Hollywood career, known for his roles in films like “Bad Boys for Life,” “Tequila and Bonetti,” and “Just Mercy.” Sanders started his acting career in 1985 with films like “Brewster’s Millions” and “Hollywood Shuffle.
” He has also been part of classic shows like “Laverne and Shirley,” “Benson,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Black Lightning,” and “The Wonder Years.” Interestingly, he is not a stranger to Young and the Restless, as he previously portrayed the stylish and hat-sporting Clarence in Genoa City. If you’re still feeling a sense of déjà vu, it might be because he also appeared on Y&R’s sibling soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, in 2012.
But Sanders didn’t just stop at playing characters onscreen; he was also the brains behind the popular Clarence update. This role earned him serious soap credibility and two Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the New Approaches to Daytime Entertainment category.
When not gracing screens with his soap wisdom, Sanders is the big boss at Babysitter’s Productions, showcasing his talent in radio production, including the long-running “It’s Your World,” a radio soap opera that captivated listeners for 16 years.
Sanders expressed his excitement on Instagram, stating, “Great to be back with the Y&R family. They showed a brother plenty of love, hugs, and kisses to the best soap fans in TV history.” Mark your calendars as Sanders is set to make his special appearance on Y&R on December 27th.
