It’s time to say goodbye to Crystal Khil as she takes a break from The Young and the Restless. Yep, you heard that right – the fans won’t be seeing Lily Winters in Genoa City, especially on Christmas. Watch along to find the reason behind it. Hey everyone, welcome to Tren Street. Ever since Heather got back in Genoa City, Daniel and Lily are getting further apart. Heather is stirring up some old feelings for Daniel and trying to get him back.
If you look at Daniel and Lily’s relationship, it looks like the spark is dying between them. It just doesn’t look the same anymore. Lily and Daniel’s relationship has been rocky lately. Instead of progressing and getting more serious, like it should, it’s actually going in the opposite direction. Remember when they first got back together? They were all about taking it easy and slow, but that plan totally went out the window.
Soap opera romances are usually faster than a racing car, but these two are moving at a snail’s pace in the love department. Daniel even started lying and hiding news from Lily, making it clear that he still has some unresolved feelings left for his ex. He’s getting along with Heather pretty great, and that seems to be troubling Lily a lot recently. I mean, how could it not? Your boyfriend is getting close with his baby mama.
Heather’s presence has been causing problems for the couple since day one, and it looks like the stress of it will make her leave town very soon. According to the spoilers, Crystal Khil, the actor behind Lily, is taking her leave from the show because her baby is due soon. Yep, it’s her maternity leave that is making her take some time off the show. Khil announced her pregnancy with her fiance Sam Ragno back in June.
She recently even had a baby shower for her soon-to-arrive baby boy, and it was beautiful. And like always, she was absolutely glowing. So, as she is taking her maternity leave, it seems to be the perfect storyline for Lily to leave town. Maybe Lily will be leaving Genoa City to clear her head and decide what she wants in her relationship with Daniel because there is no way she can continue her relationship with him while he still has feelings left for Heather.
That means we won’t be seeing Khil this Christmas unless they have already shot the part. Either way, we are definitely going to miss her for quite some time when she’s not here.
