Ridge Forrester ( Thorsten Kaye ) has a good relationship with John Finnegan ( Tanner Novlan ) all those years, he knows that Finn loves his daughter so much and he could protect her at all costs. But recently, after seeing Finn’s connection with his birth mom Sheila Carter ( Kimberlin Brown ), Ridge has slowly changed his mind about his son-in-law.
Ridge already lose his daughter because of Sheila, so he can’t let it happen again, and he will try to prevent it. Ridge was a bit disappointed when Steffy Forrester ( Jacqueline MacInnes Wood ) told him that she is going back home with her husband Finn, Ridge thinks that it’s not safe there.
And he is right, Sheila soon appeared outside the cliff house and that will bring Steffy a serious threat, making her shocked and horified.

After this, Ridge only have one choice, he will turn to Liam Spencer ( Scott Clifton ) and urge this man to fight for Steffy, he knows that Liam still has feelings for his daughter. Although it’s not good for Ridge to destroy Finn and Steffy’s marriage, but he needs to protect his daughter’s family at all costs.
Ridge also knows that Liam and Hope’s marriage is over now, and he only needs to give Liam a chance to start his actions. Ridge will also do one more thing to make sure that Liam and Hope can’t reunite anymore, he will tell him about Hope’s betrayal with Thomas.
As we know, Brooke told him about Hope and Thomas making love at Thomas’s apartment, and Liam will be shocked when he knows that.
