The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has made her first public appearance since undergoing abdominal surgery on January 16. American website TMZ published photos of her being driven home from the school run by her mother, Carol Middleton.

In the pictures, Princess Catherine was seen sitting in the passenger seat, wearing dark sunglasses and flashing a low-key smile. Witnesses reported that she and her mother were engaged in conversation during the drive.

The images, taken shortly before 9:00 a.m., suggested they were returning from the school run. The palace confirmed that the princess is recuperating well, but reiterated that she would not make public appearances until at least April.

Reports indicate that she is receiving close care from her mother and sister, Pippa Middleton, during her recovery period, expected to last between two and three months. The palace urged respect for the princess’s privacy, emphasizing that they would not provide updates unless significant new information emerged.

Despite this, social media and overseas websites continue to speculate wildly about her health and whereabouts, prompting the palace to address the issue and reiterate their stance on privacy. The Princess of Wales, Prince William, and their three children recently enjoyed a family break to Noro Home Adoral.

The palace emphasized that the princess’s personal wish is to keep her medical information private, and they stand firm in not succumbing to the pressure of providing a running commentary on her recovery. The statement also addressed the outlandish speculations circulating on social media, urging discretion and respect for the princess’s well-being.
